WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
How much will this cost me?
Just get yourself to San Diego, we’ll handle the rest (for the most part). We’ll pick you up from the airport, cover lodging and core event logistics, and provide bulk nutrition during the run. Participants are responsible for their own meals (excluding Thursday night’s formal dinner) and any personal supplements or specialty nutrition.
How does this support the Never Surrender USA mission?
This run is about community, resilience, patriotism, and inspiring others through action. We’ll carry one American flag the entire way, with each runner taking turns carrying it throughout different portions of the journey. Every 25-mile segment will be dedicated to honoring a different Gold Star family and the sacrifice they’ve made for our country.
The event also serves to bring visibility to the Never Surrender USA mission promoting the wellbeing of young Americans.
Will there be content coverage?
Yes. We’ll have a full-time content team documenting the experience from Thursday through Sunday. All participants will receive access to raw footage and media through a shared Dropbox folder for personal use.
Can I promote my own social media or brand?
Absolutely. We want everyone involved to share the mission and message of promoting health, fitness, freedom, and leadership across the country.
What if I can’t run 100 miles?
That’s completely fine. We want you to be part of the experience. If you want to run 25 or 50 miles instead, you’re welcome to join for any portion of the route.
Will the group stay together?
Yes. Our goal is to move as a team and “run as a wolf pack” throughout the run. We expect an average pace of approximately 11–13 minutes per mile.
What’s the time goal?
Our target finish time is approximately 24 hours, including breaks.
Will there be aid stations?
Yes. A support vehicle will follow the group the entire route with water, snacks, nutrition, medical supplies, and recovery essentials.
Will there be breaks?
Yes. We plan to take approximately 30-minute recovery stops every 25 miles to regroup, refuel, and prepare for the next segment.
